ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- West Rowan Farm Home and Garden has competed the largest community barn quilt in the United States.
- The community of Rowan County began making a mural in February and has just completed it, making it the largest community barn quilt in the U.S.
- More than 100 volunteers contributed to the 504 sq. ft. mural that took hours to assemble on the wall.
- Vistitors can find out the stories behind each of the quilts, in a book inside West Rowan Farm Home and Garden.

Barn Quilt Project Organizer, Elsie Bennett, says: "The love and support that we’ve had from the community has really just been amazing. We’ve had over one hundred and twenty plus people involved in this mural project. I’m going to have to make a list to go over and thank everybody."
