CHARLOTTE, N.C. – UNC-Charlotte campus shooting survivor Drew Pescaro is still recovering after being injured on the last day of class.

  • Drew Pescaro posted video of him walking to his Twitter page last week.
  • He had had been discharged Monday, but had to be rehospitalized
  • Full coverage of the UNCC shooting can be seen here

Pescaro is one of the six UNCC students who were shot. A post on his Instagram account says he had been discharged from CMC in Charlotte on Monday, a week after taking his first steps and enjoying his first meal since the shooting. However, the post says he had to be rehospitalized as his body is "working hard to combat infection related to his injuries."

Pescaro posted a video to his Twitter account last week celebrating how far he’s come.
