RALEIGH, N.C. – The State Highway Patrol has two brand new tools to assist with their mission of public safety.
- The highway patrol has two new helicopters.
- They're replacing the old one that was 30 years old.
- They were unveiled in Raleigh on Tuesday.
The department added two new, state-of-the-art Bell 407 helicopters to their fleet Tuesday.
The new birds replaced another helicopter that was 30 years old.
The pair will help the group with life-saving operations in the state.
