GREENVILLE, N.C. -- East Carolina University named its interim chancellor at a news conference Tuesday afternoon.
School officials introduced Dan Gerlach as the new leader.
Gerlach is the president of the Golden Leaf Foundation.
It was announced in March that current chancellor Cecil Station was leaving his position in May after three years.
