WILMINGTON, N.C. -- The Azalea Festival is in full bloom as big acts and crowds from all over come to Wilmington's major event fit for the whole family.

Time and Location:

The event kicked off Thursday and will go on until through the weekend on Oleander Drive in Wilmington.

Parking/Transportation:

• Parking varies depended on what event you are looking to attend
• Organizers encourage guests to use ride share services. There are several drop off areas like the front of the Garden Services Center near east 3rd Street
• Parking is available at the Wilmington Convention Center parking deck, the Marking Street Parking Deck and the library. Some are cash only
• The Wave Transit Parade Shuttle will also run from Independence Mall
