The end of the pier is still under construction after Hurricane Florence.
Management says they have replaced 36 pylons at $1,000 a piece.
The entire project cost $200,000 out of pocket to management.
The ongoing construction is not keeping visitors from traveling miles to the pier.
"This pier, to me, is the best pier on the North Carolina coast," said Ricky Brown of Greensboro. "I've caught a lot of fish here. I just love coming down here. It's like you come down here, and you're in a whole new world."
