CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are seeking new information following a violent weekend in Charlotte. 

  • Three separate shootings took place over the weekend
  • A body was found on Monday morning
  • Police are asking anyone with information about the body to call 704-432-TIPS

Police report there were three people shot and killed over the weekend in three separate shootings, one on Gibbons Link Road, one on Bathurst Drive and another on Minuet Lane.

Now police are investigating a fourth homicide. It happened early Monday morning, where police say a body was found in an empty parking lot next to Nikki's Strip Club off Wilkinson Boulevard.

On Tuesday, police held a conference updating the public on their investigation into the homicide case. They identified the man killed as Melson Kawon Quince (pictured below). They are urging anyone who may have been in the club at the time or who may have information concerning the case to call 704-432-TIPS and to speak with Detective Lyon. 

They are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
