The big storm is moving away with an Arctic air mass moving in for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

It will be the coldest air of the season so far with Charlotte down in the middle teens early Monday morning. The mountains will have lows in the single digits with wind chill values below zero. A "Wind Chill Advisory" is up for some of the mountain counties.

Clear and cold conditions will continue through Tuesday. The next storm system arrives Wednesday with mostly rain but some snow will mix in for the mountains.

Be safe as we try to keep warm. Use extra caution with space heaters. Don't forget about your pets!
