CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two men are aiming to become the game of choice at Charlotte bars and breweries.

• Travis Lankford and Kevin McVey are co-owners of Southern Axecent, a mobile ax throwing unit in Charlotte
• Southern Axecent is the first mobile ax throwing unit in Charlotte
• They're giving 10 percent of their proceeds to Wishes for Veterans

Travis Lankford and Kevin McVey are co-owners of Southern Axecent, a mobile ax throwing unit in Charlotte.

The idea for their mobile ax unit started in their backyard. With a few pieces of wood and screws later, they hit the target and are setting up their attraction around town.

Southern Axecent is the first mobile ax throwing unit in Charlotte and they're giving 10 percent of their proceeds to Wishes for Veterans, a foundation dear to their hearts.

The whole thing takes about 30 minutes to set up and break down the mobile unit.
