After another cold start to the day, Thursday will kick off a warming trend that will continue through the weekend ahead of a cold front set to push through late Saturday into Sunday. Along with the return of mild weather, we'll also look for the return of rain over the upcoming weekend.

Thursday will feature one more day of completely dry weather for the coast as high pressure builds in from the south. Temperatures will be warmer than Wednesday, with highs back into the low to mid 50s under lots of sunshine.

Friday will be off to a chilly, but still milder start. Clouds will build in throughout the day from west to east with showers likely arriving by Friday night.  Scattered showers will continue into Saturday and Sunday where temperatures should warm into the low to mid 70s for many along the coast. The front should clear the coast by late Sunday with another system expected to bring more rain by Monday.

While the entire weekend won't be a washout, expect to run into some rain from time to time if you're planning on heading outdoors!
