CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The second Shake Shack in North Carolina opened Tuesday in south Charlotte's Blakeney Village.
Described as a "modern-day roadside burger stand," the restaurant has angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, frozen custard concretes, crinkle-cut fries, and more.
In addition to their typical offerings, the location will have local beers from Lenny Boy Brewing Company, Appalachian Mountain Brewery, and Catawba Brewing Company.
Five percent of sales from the "Pie Oh My" frozen concrete, which comes with a slice of seasonal pie from the local Suarez Bakery, will benefit the local nonprofit Loaves & Fishes.
