Hundreds of people lined Tryon Street in uptown Charlotte to watch the Veterans Day parade in honor of the men and women who have served in the armed forces.
Chris Titus is an Army veteran who came to watch his son march in the parade with his ROTC group. He says seeing everyone come out to support veterans is exciting.
"One of the greatest things about being a veteran is we get the chance to serve this great nation we live in, but then we come home and see people are celebrating what veterans have done, makes you feel really good," Titus said.
