CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A Charlotte-Mecklenburg math teacher is out of the classroom and under investigation for having inappropriate relationships with former students.

Brian Zelk, a teacher at Ardrey Kell High School, has been suspended with pay during the investigation.

Law enforcement and CMS officials are looking into the issue. Zelk has been with the district since 1996.
