NORTH CAROLINA -- Early voter turnout is already surpassing numbers from the start of the 2014 midterm election.
- 133,000 votes casted in-person on first day
- 12,000 more votes than 2014
- Early voting ends November 3
The State Elections Board said about 133,000 voters casted in-person ballots on Wednesday, adding up to around 12,000 more votes than the beginning of the 2014 election.
When including mail-in and absentee voting, 149,000 ballots were cast after the first day of early voting this year.
For those who have yet to vote, it’s not too late. Early voting ends on November 3. Election Day is on November 6.
