YORK COUNTY, S.C. – The Fort Mill Police Department has made an arrest in a deadly shooting that occurred Friday afternoon.

• Jackel Clinton has been charged in the murder of De'mon Davis.
• The shooting happened on Sanders Street in Fort Mill.
• He was denied bond.

Police say Jackel Clinton, 22, shot and killed De’mon Davis, 22, on Sanders Street near Tom Hall Street just after 4:30.

Clinton has been charged with murder and possession of a deadly weapon.

He has been denied bond.
