NORTH CAROLINA -- A portion of Chimney Rock State Park is closing on Monday to repair damage caused by subtropical storm Alberto.
The park closed in June while crews cleaned up fallen trees, power lines and mudslides.
Now, the park will close again to repair the road leading into the park and retaining wall on the upper parking lot.
Officials expect the project to take about ten days.
