RALEIGH, N.C. -- Those eagerly counting down the days until the North Carolina State Fair can now purchase their tickets online.
Adult tickets are priced at $8 and child tickets are $3.
There will also be a Dizzy Pass package that includes a FastTrack gate admission ticket and the popular one-price, ride-all-day wristband for $31.
Fairgoers who expect to attend the fair multiple days can check out deals such as:
Mega Fan Mini Pass
The $30 Mega Fan Mini Pass allows the bearer of the pass FastTrack gate admission any five days of the fair. This price reflects a savings of $10 off the purchase of five individual advance sales tickets.
State Fair Flyer package
This package includes two FastTrack gate admission tickets and two round-trip tickets for the State Fair Flyer, the only permanent ride on the fairgrounds. The package costs $26, a $10 savings if purchased during the fair.
Friday Frenzy
This popular student deal returns on Friday, Oct. 12. Students who present a valid school ID or recent (2017/2018) report card at the ticket booth can buy an admission ticket for $6 on Oct. 12 only. One-price wristbands, individual ride tickets and ride sheets purchased in advance can still be used on this day.
Food Lion Hunger Relief Day
On Thursday, Oct. 18, a donation of five cans of food can be exchanged for a free fair ticket. This promotion benefits the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and is one of the largest one-day canned-food drives in the state.
