WAKE COUNTY, N.C. -- The Apex Police Department is investigating after a woman was carjacked at gunpoint Wednesday.

• Woman carjacked at Target at Beaver Creek Commons.
• Suspect stole wallet and a 2010 Chevy Equinox. 
• Suspect is described as short Hispanic male. 

According to authorities, a woman was at the Target at Beaver Creek Commons around 10 a.m. when a man approached her and presented a gun.

He then proceeded to take the woman's wallet and her 2010 Chevrolet Equinox. 

The suspect is described as a short Hispanic male between the ages of 18 and 30 with a scar across his face.
