REDISVILLE, N.C. -- Governor Roy Cooper Stopped in Rockingham County Tuesday afternoon to announce that more than 300 jobs are coming to the area as the company Albaad expands.

The Global Manufacturing Company, responsible for making baby wipes, hand wipes and other hygiene products, already have a facility in Reidsville but company leaders say the growing workforce in the region influenced their decision.

Albaad as decided to invest more than $40 million over the next three years.

Governor Cooper managed to emphasize that these are good paying jobs starting at an average of $38,000 per year.

As of now, the company is looking to renovate their current facility as well as buy the former Ball plant.
