JACKSONVILLE, N.C. -- A now-former employee at a local North Carolina Dick's Sporting Goods has made national headlines after quiting his position following the chain rolling out new policies regarding firearm sales.

Last week the chain announced it would no longer sell guns to shoppers under the age of 21, in addition to ending sales of "assault-style" rifles.

Griffin Mcculler, 20, of Swansboro said he could no longer work for the company because he found the new policies "morally and constitutionally wrong" in addition to pointing out that, by the company's new policy, he could no longer buy a gun from the store where he was a salesman at the gun counter.
