CHARLOTTE -- One Chinese restaurant open for Christmas had to close for the day when a fire started.

It happened at Dim Sum on Central Avenue in east Charlotte.

The restaurant had to be evacuated.

The fire may have started when someone threw out a cigarette near the building.

No one was hurt.

The fire is still under investigation.
