NORTH CAROLINA -- It looks like the odds are in North Carolina's favor to become Amazon's coveted second headquarters location.
According to a list released by CNBC, Charlotte/Raleigh-Durham/Greensboro-High Point are all the strongest contenders to be picked for HQ2.
The list ranks North Carolina as the #1 pick, giving the state a "B" rating.
North Carolina is followed by Atlanta, Washington D.C./Virginia, and Austin/Houston/Dallas which all received "B-" ratings.
According to the article, which was released on Monday, North Carolina is a strong contender because it has one of the best workforces in the country and harbors a "heritage of innovation dating back to the Wright Brothers".
Working against the state however, is a lack of mass transportation and a "nagging lack of inclusiveness".
