NATIONAL -- Popular organic grocery store chain Whole Foods is hosting a National Hiring Day on Thursday, Nov. 2. 

The company said they plan to hire 6,000 new team members during the event.

Applicants can simply apply online and then go to a Whole Foods location for open interviews.

The company boasts competitive hourly rates and health benefits to new employees. 

Many job offers are expected to be made on the spot.
