HIGH POINT, N.C. -- A popular grocery chain continues to expand its footprint in the state since moving here in 2011.
On Wednesday, Publix opened a store on North Main Street in High Point.
In June, local grocer Food Lion closed its doors in High Point, off Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, so this opening comes at a good time.
There are more than 25 Publix stores open across the state and several more are under construction.
The next location to open in the Triad area will be in Clemmons.
At this time there are no confirmed sites for Greensboro.
