GASTON COUNTY, N.C. -- Gaston County has a new branding and logo all aimed to boost growth and attract more people to the area.
It’s called Gaston Outside.
Mark Cramer with the Greater Gaston Development Corporation said coming up with the name "Gaston Outside" involved first thinking about how people answer the question, "Where do you live?"
“You say... Well, just outside Charlotte,” said Cramer.
And what people like to do in Gaston County.
“They like to be outside. They live to be active,” said Cramer.
“This is an extension of who we already are and branding and making sure that everybody knows who we really are,” said Joel Long.
