NORTH CAROLINA -- Two North Carolina-based companies have landed in the top 10 on Fortune Magazine’s 2016’s “100 Best Companies to Work for” list.
Fortune ranked Kimley-Horn and Associates and SAS Institute seventh and eighth, respectively.
Kimley-Horn and Associates is a private design consulting firm with more than 2,200 employees. The company offers perks such as a generous retirement compensation and frequent gift cards and bonuses. Kimley-Horn was ranked 25th on Fortune’s list last year.
SAS Institute is a private information technology company with more than 6,800 employees in the U.S. and more than 6,700 internationally. The company offers perks like on-site swimming pools, fitness centers, nail salons, child care and shoe repairs. SAS was ranked fourth on Fortune’s 2015 list.
Both Kimley-Horn and Associates and SAS Institute are located in Cary, North Carolina.
