SALISBURY -- Two Catawba College students face charges after investigators say they found drugs in their dorm room.

The investigation began with a report of a car break-in on Devonmere Place, not far from the school.

After charging 22-year-old Jordan Chillson with the break-in, deputies say they found evidence of heroin use and searched his room at Goodman East Residence Hall.

There deputies say they found heroin, 170 doses of amphetamines and drug paraphernalia.

Chillson is charged with possession of heroin and possession with intent to sell.

His roommate, 22-year-old Kevin Scott, is charged with heroin possession.
