CHARLOTTE— Charlotte Mecklenburg Police arrested the man they say shot at a driver after a car accident.
It happened Monday morning near I-85 and Statesville Avenue.
Officers say 34-year-old Jaquan Carter got out of his car while it was still in drive and started shooting at the other driver before running away.
Carter was caught a few hours later after police temporarily blocked off the area to search for him.
CMPD says luckily no one was hurt.
Carter is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and firearm by a felon.
