CHARLOTTE -- A woman, wearing no pants, stole and crashed a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police cruiser. That's according to police.
Authorities were responding to a transformer struck by lightning on J-Julian Lane in west Charlotte.
While firefighters were working to control the situation, police say woman ran out saying someone was chasing her with a gun.
Officers investigated her claim when they say she stole the cruiser and crashed it into a wall.
One person went to the hospital with minor injuries.
