CHARLOTTE – A North Carolina probation officer has been arrested on drug charges.

The Union County Sheriff’s Office says Justin McGlamery, who was assigned to Mecklenburg County, purchased and possessed heroin on four different occasions in the last two weeks. In two of those cases, he was on the job, operating his vehicle and displaying his firearm and badge.

McGlamery was also charged with selling hydrocodone and oxycodone. He is expected to make his first appearance in court on July 7, and he received a $125,000 secured bond.

Union County deputies, Monroe and Waxhaw police worked with the SBI and federal investigators on the case.
