CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- It’s home cooking from the low country, becoming a new addiction in the Queen City.

Rod Brown learned the taste of a true low country seafood boil from his grandparents. Now he’s giving folks a taste on the go as owner of Mr. 3’s Crab Pot.

“Once you get that food you know what it is,” Brown said. “It comes down to the home cooking. That's what we do here. Everything is cooked fresh when you order it. everything is home cooked straight from the heart.”

Fresh seafood, signature seasoning, and a secret sauce keep bringing people back for their fix.

“I never considered opening up a restaurant. It just came from eating,”Brown said. “Being fat and eating, haha.”
