CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Most don’t think of Italian food as brunch food.

“Italian food, to me, it’s all about the ingredients first,” director of food & beverage at Tryon Park Hotel Andrew Carlson said.

Angeline's is using Italian ingredients to bring a new flavor to brunch.

“Brunch is  definitely an over the top type of meal period,” Carlson said. “[People] want something that’s fulfilling and rich and definitely something they wouldn’t eat any other day.”

“Any dish for me it should have just about every sensation going on,” Angeline’s executive chef Robert Hoffman said.

Including the same sensation you expect from a favorite brunch or Italian dish; feeling full.
