RALEIGH, N.C. -- Locals Oyster Bar is all about showcasing North Carolina's fishermen and the fresh seafood they catch from the coastline. 

Since the restaurant opened, the menu and dishes served have been captivating the foodies of downtown Raleigh, quickly turning the vendor into a favorite destination at the Transfer Co. Food Hall.

Eric Montagne is the executive chef of Locals Oyster Bar and brings his lifelong love of seafood to the table.

Montagne grew up in Miami and spent much of his childhood fishing with his father in the Florida Keys. 

His passion for the craft and cuisine grew deeper after moving to North Carolina nearly 20 years ago and continues to gain popularity across Raleigh.

Oyster Poutine (cornmeal fried oysters and fries, oyster gravy, thyme, lemon)

Grilled Swordfish Sandwich (horseradish tartar sauce, iceberg lettuce, pickles)
