CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone -- or in this case, hop out.
At Hoppin’, folks can choose something new from the 50 taps dedicated to beer and 12 taps for wine.
“Try something different that maybe you haven’t tried before,” Hoppin’s Ian O’Brien said. Hoppin is self-serve. Customers get a bracelet that unlocks taps, tracks the pour, charging by the ounce.
“So you pour one ounce, try it. You don’t like it? Dump it out,” O’Brien said. Just fill your glass as full as you fill your plate. The Twisted Eats food truck stations outside Hoppin’, whipping up a menu made for a frosty beverage.
