Amy Galey is the State Senator for North Carolina's 25th District, representing Alamance and Randolph Counties. The population and economic growth in her district inspired her to run for office and contribute to local government.

Galey believes that regardless of our differences, people are alike in wanting what's best for their communities. Whether it's education or firework regulations, she is proud to fight for the various policy issues that are important to her and her constituents. 

If Galey wasn't in public service, she would be practicing law. She would take an out-of-town visitor to the Haw River Trail, which she recently helped classify as a state trail.
