Amy Wright, the founder of Bitty and Beau’s coffee, was awarded the Civitan International World Citizenship Award.

The recognition is typically given to people “who have made significant contributions to mankind.”

Past award winners include Winston Churchill, President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Eunice Kennedy Shriver.
