Spectrum News 1 is giving away thousands of dollars to help deserving high school kids pay for college. 

It's part of our new High School Scholars Program, which is open to all North Carolina high school seniors in public and private schools. 

Students will need to be nominated by a teacher, coach, or faculty member from the school, and we'll start announcing winners soon.
