ST. LOUIS — Since 1979, Fredbird has been a staple for the st. Louis Cardinals and now, he's been nominated among 27 other mascots for a chance to be inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame.

Fredbird has performed in over 3,600 games and seven World Series. The Mascot Hall of Fame was founded by David Raymond, the original Phillie Phanatic, and recognizes the best mascot programs.
