CITY SC will play the inaugural match of the 2025 season on Saturday, Feb. 22, also the first match at newly-named Energizer Park. The team will face Colorado Rapids at 7:30 p.m.
“As one of the most talked about fan experiences in the league, there’s nothing quite like being a part of CITY SC’s matchdays,” said Diego Gigliani, club President and General Manager. “Excitement for season three is through the roof. We are eager to start our 2025 campaign and welcome new and returning fans home to award-winning Energizer Park.”
Fans are invited to a free CITY SC Block Party before the match, beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Lou Fusz Plaza. British rock band The Struts and DJ Tatiana Rose are slated to perform. The Budweiser Clydesdales will deliver beer to the stadium after parading through surrounding streets. Specialty cocktails and food from Steve’s Hot Dogs and Balkan Treat Box will be available for purchase. The CITY Block Party is open to the public – tickets are not required.
“Come celebrate our home opener with us at our free CITY Block Party, which has become a beloved matchday tradition that really brings the energy and sets the tone for the entire evening,” Gigliani said.
Ticket holders can enter Energizer Park at 6:00 p.m., where they’ll receive an LED wristband. All of the arena’s food vendors are local this year, including Pappy’s Smokehouse, Chicken Scratch, Bolyard’s and Damn Fine Hand Pies.
