ST. LOUIS – Most area Schnucks stores will be returning to a 10 p.m. closing time starting on March 14. Also, most of its deli, meat and seafood counters will be open an hour later, operating from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In October 2021, the grocery chain announced many of its stores would be operating from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. due to the challenging labor market.

“We know that as the days become longer and families begin to have more spring and summer activities, we’ll see the volume of shoppers return later in the evening,” said Ted Schnuck, Executive Vice President, Supermarkets. “With the return to a 10 p.m. close, along with longer service department hours for deli, meat and seafood, we are ensuring that we meet our customers’ needs with more options to shop for the products they love.”

Only three St. Louis area stores will have alternate operating and deli, meat and seafood hours. You can check your store’s hours at Schnucks.com.

Schnucks is also hiring at all locations plus its bakery plant. There will be a career fair at all locations on March 31 from 1 – 5 p.m.
