Grab My Bag is a luggage delivery service that eliminates the wait time passengers spend retrieving luggage from baggage claims.

CEO and Founder Emory Reignz said there has been an uptick in service during the last week after a winter storm disrupted flights, hitting Southwest Airlines the hardest due to outdated, crew-scheduling software that left flight crews out of place.

"We can't control the weather or pandemics, but the safety and comfort of the traveler should always come first,” Reignz said.

Grab My Bag’s CEO says it is trying to take the stress out of the baggage claim process and, most importantly, give people their time back.

The idea came from what Reignz, a professional actress, called a “nightmare incident” while returning to America on an international flight at the beginning of the pandemic.

She recalled having to make three trips to Atlanta’s Hartsfield Airport over several days because her nine pieces of luggage couldn’t fit into her rental SUV.

Less than three years later, the company is in a handful of cities and has more than 2,000 “Grabbers” ready to step in and take out the hassle of waiting for your luggage.

“There’s nothing like getting off the plane and knowing you can leave instead of waiting for your bag,” said Reignz.

She said passengers can book a “grab” right after they book their flight, or even after take-off.

“If you are mid-air and find out you have a meeting, you can land and leave and we will get your luggage for you,” explained Reignz.

It’s not too late for travelers trying to be reunited with their luggage from recent cancelations to schedule a “grab.” The delivery location has to be within a 40-mile radius of the airport, said Reignz.

The company launched in Atlanta in 2021 and has grown to include airports in Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, Nevada, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Texas.

There are plans to launch in several new markets later this year including locations in Wisconsin, Florida, New York and California with its app expected to go live in February. The company is also hiring “grabbers.”

Reignz points out Grab My Bag is not a lost luggage delivery service, but will facilitate that process if your bag does get lost.

It costs $35 for one bag, $65 for two to four bags and $120 dollars for five to ten bags. Bags will be delivered within a 40-mile radius of the airport. You can start the process by booking on Grab My Bag’s website and uploading your flight booking confirmation.
