A trip to Maine by Gwen Walz, the wife of Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz, has been canceled.

The Harris-Walz campaign did not give a reason.

Walz, the first lady of Minnesota, was scheduled to speak today about reproductive rights.

Gwen Walz visited Portland and Bangor last month, where she rallied supporters and talked about the importance of the Nov. 5 election.

Her campaign stop followed a July visit by Doug Emhoff, second gentleman and husband of Democratic presidential nominee Vice-President Kamala Harris.
