Anah Shrine Circus
The circus is back in Bangor. The Anah Shriners searched over land and sea to bring the best circus performers in the world today. This circus is a combination of strength and skill, beauty and mystery. They promise amazing lighting and sound while watching performers transform the audience into the magical world of circus. Nice People
This indie-feature film is set and shot in Maine. The film tells the story of old lovers who reunite, a friendship that is betrayed, a pet is killed, a runaway is discovered and co-worker comes back from the dead. Head Over Heals, the musical
A celebration of love, Head Over Heels follows the escapades of a royal family on an outrageous journey to save their beloved kingdom from extinction, only to discover the key to their realm’s survival lies within each of their own hearts. This love story is set to the music of the 1980’s all-female rock band the Go-Go’s.  Check it out here.

Meet A Scientist 2024: Celebrate Earth Day
Join Hirundo Wildlife Refuge in celebrating Earth Day at Binette Park in Old Town! Meet scientists from around Maine, who will showcase some of the equipment they use and what projects they are working on right now. Maine Pops Concert Band Spring Concert
The title of this concert is “Music at War and Peace” and will feature a variety of musical selections including patriotic compositions, a medley, a variety of symphonic movie soundtracks and both historic and current classical works. Maine Pops Director David Watts has selected music for the 90-minute performance from a variety of composers. Find more information here.

Maine’s Got Talent
Here’s a musical competition that features 8 performing artists competing for cash prizes. Half the vote comes from audience members and the other half is from celebrity judges. This is a fundraising event and is open to all performing artists who live or work in Maine, including out-of-state students attending Maine schools. See more details here.

One in Five 5K
The 13th annual One in Five 5k race kicks off at 9:00 am, symbolizing the pivotal statistic that one in five people in Maine are affected by sexual violence. Whether you lace up your sneakers for the physical race or engage in the virtual one until May 13th, you're contributing to a movement that screams solidarity during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Proceeds support the Sexual Assault Crisis and Support Center. Read more details here.

22nd Annual Walk for Autism
Go solo or with family and friends to help raise money for the Autism Society of Maine.  The money helps fun programs for those who lives have been touched by Autism. Learn more by clicking on the image below.

The Portland Piano Extravaganza
Six piano students from the studio of Laura Kargul at the Osher School of Music will celebrate spring with a concert of works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms, Ravel and Rachmaninoff:  Josie DiPhilippo, Matthew Jones, Grant Kelly, Jonathan Prak, Mesa Schubeck and Oren Varess.  Detials and ticket info can be found  here.
