Since Jan. 15, Mokulele Airlines has been operating only certain flights, canceling many others “due to maintenance.” The airline said Monday that all flights would resume on the following Monday.
"Mokulele Airlines is currently accommodating all passengers across our network, and will progressively increase the number of flights throughout this week,” said Louis Saint-Cyr, COO & President of Hawaii Operations, in a statement to Spectrum News Hawaii. “We plan to return to full operations of all published scheduled flights beginning February 3rd."
Mokulele, which is a subsidiary of Florida-based Southern Airways, became the only carrier that flies to Molokai and Lanai after Hawaiian Airlines stopped flying to these islands in 2021.
