Rochester authorities say two of the three homes involved in Friday's house explosion and fire are now uninhabitable.

An explosion at an address on Pullman Avenue Friday afternoon led to fires at two other homes.

The city's fire department says there was one man in the home that exploded, who was able to get out on his own and was hospitalized.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion.

"We have a fire investigation unit. Once all the fire is extinguished, they'll go through, they'll conduct interviews, they'll go through what's remaining of the property and see what they can piece together,” said Jackie Sierra, public information officer, Rochester Fire Department.
