Rochester's Pont de Rennes bridge will reopen this Friday after being closed for more than a year, Mayor Malik Evans said in a statement.

It closed in July 2023 for repairs and enhancements.

The bridge stretches over the Genessee River between the Brown's Race Historic District and Cataract Street by the Genesee Brew House.

Evans says the bridge will open in time for the annual Genesee Brewery keg tree lighting.

According to the brewery, the keg tree will be lit at 6:30 p.m.
