ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The terms of probation are getting stricter for suspended Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio.

Judge Stephen Aronson says he's now prohibited her from buying alcohol. That's after he says Astacio tried to purchase some from a Henrietta liquor store last week.

Original terms of her probation only said she could not drink alcohol and nothing about buying it.

Astacio addressed the incident on social media Thurday:

"Today I found out that another business, Marketview Liquor, contacted law enforcement to advise them that I was engaging in totally legal behavior. So weird to me a for-profit entity would rather try to destroy a stranger than do business."

Just last week, Astacio challenged a ruling by the Commission on Judicial Conduct to remove her from the bench.

The Chairman of the Commission says Astacio has been using her position as a judge to avoid the consequences of a DWI conviction, which has dragged out for two years.

The matter now moves to the Court of Appeals which will have the final determination. That decision is expected within the next three to five months.
