The first public open house for the Inner Loop North Mobility and Development Study is taking place Thursday night.

The meeting is being held at World of Inquiry School No. 58 from 6-7:30 p.m. An informal 15-minute presentation will take place at 6:15 p.m. that will focus on the project's goals, progress to date and how the community can stay involved in the process.

The city says the public is encouraged to share thoughts on goals related to future land use, open space, appearance and mobility improvements for the Inner Loop North project area.

People can view the study and the draft project scoping report on the city's website.

A final report is expected this fall. Once started, the project could take five to eight years to finish.
