A water main break in Rochester is impacting traffic and one city school on Thursday.

The city says a water main break in the Reynolds Street area forced School 19 to close. All school-related activities are also canceled. Staff members did not have to report to the building. The Rochester City School District says the school will reopen on Friday.

The Willie Walker Lightfoot R-Center is also closed as a result of the water main break.

Reynolds Street has been shut down to traffic in both directions between Flint Street and Seward streets. Repair work is expected to be completed by the end of Thursday.
