BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo baseball fans may be disappointed as the Toronto Blue Jays look to return up north.
According to the Blue Jays organization, the team has municipal and provincial approval to return to Toronto this summer.
The club has submitted an application to the Canadian federal government, which is its final hurdle for the move.
While they don't have a date yet, they are "hopeful" to return July 30.
The Blue Jays are either on the road or off for much of the rest of July.
The team is excited to potentially return to Rogers Centre after over a season and a half.
